Because we our piss arseing around. Ward wants to come here and wolves want to sell. Just get it done .

You have NO IDEA what's happening behind the scenes. No idea whatsoever.

You're basically whining because you want us to match the wage stricture of clubs who don't give a rats arse about FFP. It isn't going to happen.

We will buy the players we want for a price we think they're worth. If we're wrong and we end up finishing 18th. Fine. Moan. But we've reached the playoffs 2 years in a row with this model. Spending more and gambling is NOT the way to do it.

But we could have made a sizeable profit on buying and selling Grabban and he might just have fired us to the Premier league last season if we hadn't offered him a deal he could refuse.

Or he might not have done. Our chairman is a brilliant poker player. Poker players know odds, when the time is right I suspect Mr Bloom will go all in. Last January was a big risk, even if Grabban had done well it wouldn't have got us up automatically, so in effect we were taking a punt on the playoffs, that we made anyway.

Don't be ridiculous. Do you seriously believe that Tony Bloom will allow us to slip down to League 1? This is the man whose money kept us going while were at Withdean, the man who has poured about 150 Million into The Albion for a new stadium and training facility that is the future for the club.

Its the same most years and understandable.

From the fans point of view, there is worry as the squad is assembled, its never fast enough or the names aren't inspiring - can be seen as a lack of investment. More importantly the fans who effectively are the club feel disenfranchised as everything is speculation.

From TB's perspective he has spent some £180m on the stadium and training ground, surely that shows huge commitment to the long term health of the club. It probably follows that the balance of his thinking is also long term. Obviously he'd love to get to the prem next year, but is planning for the long term. Its his money and we should respect him for what he has achieved.

The problem is we haven't been using this model for 2 years though

In the 2012/3 season we signed Bridge, Upson, Ulloa and Tommy K amongst others, lost 14 million quid and added 8 million (from memory) to the wage bill. In hindsight, that play off loss to Palace was a huge turning point for the club and we should have made top 2 given the total dominance we had in so many matches that season.

Fast forward to 2014 and we are cutting back on the spending for FFP or limiting the loss. We almost got used to ex England Internationals and Ex Spanish ones for that matter turning up. Now we are being fed a diet of Barnsley strikers against an expectation of the quality previously bought in. Throw in glib statements about being Premier League ready and you can understand some of the frustrations even if most of us understand why its happening.

I'm not saying that Bloom should throw more money at it - He has thrown enough for several generations, let alone one lifetime but putting the genie back in the bottle isn't going to be easy. People expect more and in time some will vote with thier feet. A statement of intent signing would go a long way to giving everyone a lift.

Think a lot of you think I'm saying we should go out and spend 30 million and pay 30k a week, I'm not . It's looking pretty obvious that Garcia and hyypia haven't managed to sign any1 off their so called lists. Think it was about 2 weeks ago hyypia was very confident of 2 new players being signed by the end of that week, that didnt happen.
It would be nice to see the board back the manager a bit more .
The club keep going on about being prem ready but that's irrelevant if you havent got a squad good enough to get there.

Genius!
