It was handbags,....... few barriers thrown to the floor roughly
Police were on it very quickly
Dutch people cant Luzz!
To be fair they aimed a bit higher than the English. Plastic garden chairs are easy; trying to luzz a metal barrier is ambitious! Mats as well as barriers shows an element of creativity as well. I’d mark their performance 7/10.

Wasn't really handbags or spotty youths but cops dealt with it quickly.

Like I said on the other thread they threw everything but punches.

The only reason the cops dealt with it at all was the fans further back in the queue had to point this out to them. They were all by the entrance filming Brighton fans in the queue. They also totally failed to notice a second lot on the London platform side.

Remember that normally for Palace there’s a tight escort at that point. Maybe that says more about the Palace “ultras” willingness to be escorted though

I agree the use of the metal barriers was ambitious, but in the second short clip the barriers haven't been unhooked first resulting a deeply unimpressive luzz. For that reason I'm knocking a mark off. Its a 6/10 for me Gary.

Good point, well made. Whilst I agree there's room for improvement, I admire the intent, even if the execution wasn't great; I'll stick with my 7/10.

Tediously pathetic behaviour all round especially considering the queue was full of people just patiently waiting for a train. The people seen in the video were just laughable "hold me back" merchants who had no intention of actually getting involved.

Some people need to grow up
Completely agree. Just watched Ronald's video - tedious, embarrassing stuff. I imagine the same fans who are chanting "you run from the Albion" as they screamed for the police to protect them are the same fans who climbed the fences at Marseille knowing full well there was zero chance of anyone coming for them. Not only is it ridiculous testosterone and alcohol driven nonsense, it's also as cowardly as it comes.

I was at the front of the queue and being short couldn't see a great deal (except for some on the screens of phones nearby), but i thought the police did a pretty good job on the whole, got it sorted pretty quickly. The Ajax lads I was standing by were lovely mind you.

Yeah I've just watched his whole video rather than the ten seconds or so he tweeted. A few of ours not exactly covering themselves in glory. Still no actual fighting though.

At least I know who, and who not, to get the Metro with over there.

There was a kid sat near me, 12 years old if you are being generous but all in Stone Island gear already, boasting to his 12 year old mates about getting into something with the Ajax fans on the way to the game. Pathetic.

if any of the pre pubescent teenagers are on NSC I'd love them to post on this thread and try and articulate exactly what they feel they achieved last night other than an extra over night pubic hair.

And in the opposite corner we have lots of 50 somethings in XXL jackets yelling profanities behind a dozen or so coppers.

Looks like about ten people involved. In fairness, the Ajax boy was only giving someone their coat back.
We don't get that in Cowfold. We are all good boys here.

Lucky for the Ajax lads that those rails maintained their structural integrity otherwise either side may have had actually had to do something physical.
