Ok I just noticed that the title of the article is that we have returned with a bid they cannot refuse, so perhaps we have.

Sounds like everyone thinks this would be a good move, specifically because we are not in the PL, so it doesn't sound like they want someone else to come in.
What I was thinking is that talk of PL clubs coming in with £5M bids may have been a way of getting us to up our offer and urgency. Guess they don't realize we have a professional poker player as Chairman

What I was thinking is that talk of PL clubs coming in with £5M bids may have been a way of getting us to up our offer and urgency. Guess they don't realize we have a professional poker player as Chairman
