Called up to the Swedish national team, replacing Zlatan (happy 40th birthday!) who isnt quite ready yet after his latest injury.

Happy for him. His previous caps came for the Swedish B team, so this is his first "real" call-up.

Yes pleased for him.

Zlatan sticking with it then?! I figured after he missed the Euro's he might knock it on the head again? Is he aiming to go to Quatar?

Yup, going for Qatar... he'll be 41 by then.

Need to qualify first. Two points ahead of Spain with two games left . The final game, Spain away, will be a nervous one... anything can happen with Zlatan & Isak up front though.

I wouldn't be booking too much stuff up for those play off dates

Scored the only goal of the game tonight…his tenth of the season…good for him

It’s a shame that Stoke couldn’t their young Brighton loanee defender who’d smashed it at Coventry but has now left for Italy and could have helped thwart young Victor if he’d been given the minutes he surely deserved earlier in the season. It’s also sad that the lad we purchased in Victor’s place whom was loaned to Stoke has suffered injury, or else he may have been there tonight to get the equaliser or even winner against the Coventries.

Sima is just a series of injuries; bad luck wherever he is. You're spot on about Ostigard though - Stoke went from having a back three they raved about; one got injured, one (Ostigard) was then played in and out of the team, and ultimately recalled by Brighton because he wasn't getting enough game time. Now the defence is wobbly and Stoke are falling away from the play-off places.
Osti on an upgraed loan now. Tough luck Stoke fans.....................
