Using travel vouchers in first class

Hi, if I'm travelling in first class from outside the train zone area am I allowed to remain in first class for the part of the journey covered by my travel voucher i.e. from Haywards Heath ?

I'm not sure what the railway companies' policy is - I would advise checking with them. I will also see if I can find out.
