Dont think McShane is quite ready for the Man u first team. I think we will prob keep him to end of season. Hinsh i think is back towards end of October

Brighton - Boss chases defender deal

Brighton manager Mark McGhee has revealed he would like to permanently sign on-loan Manchester United defender Paul McShane.

The Old Trafford youngster grabbed his first goal for the Seagulls in their 1-1 draw at Burnley on Saturday.

McShane is on loan with Brighton until the end of December and McGhee said: "He's a good player and we are going to try desperately to keep him here as long as we possibly can, if not permanently, but Manchester United have a huge say in that. We don't know yet what they feel about it."
