We’ve used USG to get Mitoma and Adingra the points required for work permits. We will have other options but the changes to work permit rules giving us what is effectively a couple of free passes a season means it won’t be as much of an issue as it could have been.

Sure this ruling is to keep the big boys happy. Now saying new rules in place and Alex Muzio is now major shareholder. Muzio worked for Bloom at Starlizard .Its just paper work. Just imagine if we are both in same group and Brighton play them in last game needing to win by 2 clear goals

I'm going to put my hand up and say that I am slightly uneasy at the idea of an individual, any individual, owning/having major interest in more than one club.

Just doesn't sit right with me.

I can't see that being an issue. If the players are good enough to go to USG there will be other clubs available to send them to to serve that purpose.

The right move by UEFA for once and important integrity protected but when you consider how quickly they have acted on this makes you question why they are not all over the Saudi clubs buying cast offs for high fees from PL clubs that they have investment interests in or progressing at pace any of the hundreds of charges against Man City.

They don’t have clout with Saudi clubs but they do over how European clubs operate so could stop it if they wanted to. They have already closed the loop on Chelsea 8 year contracts but think they need to act more decisively on the financial doping going on

Not really, UEFA is the Union of European Football Associations. Saudi Arabian Football Federation is affiliated to the West Asian Football Federation.
They are also affiliated to FIFA though, and FIFA could make rules around ownership and player trading at some point that may affect the current situation, but money talks with FIFA.

No, because the Saudi league is nothing to do with UEFA. Hence why Saudi clubs can buy all of Chelseas unwanted players for fees beyond what they're worth.

Its when those players who move to Saudi start to get loaned into Newcastle (or Chelsea) that they need to get the whip out, but they won't, because money talks and I'm sure there's some nice envelopes still being dropped at hotels.

I'm pretty sure we pay Starlizard a consultancy fee for player analysis. There's nothing stopping USG doing the same, to avoid falling foul of shared scouting rules. Tony is no longer a director of Starlizard. (on paper)
