Tyson ruled out for four months

Tyson lasted just six minutes of the new season
Nottingham Forest striker Nathan Tyson will be out of action for four months with a knee ligament injury.
Tyson was forced off after six minutes of Forest's 1-0 win over Bradford on Saturday and a scan has revealed medial ligament damage to his left knee.

"There's no operation required and there's no other damage to anything else in or around his knee," boss Colin Calderwood told the club website.

"But it's still a major injury and a big blow to Nathan."

Tyson, who joined Forest permanently in January, will have to wear a leg brace for eight weeks.

But Calderwood admitted he was expecting even worse news.

"It's better than we feared because he doesn't require surgery and in the long term his knee will be sound," Calderwood said.

Midfielder Kris Commons, who was missed the Bradford game, is also set to have further scans on the knee and ankle he injured in pre-season.

:clap2: , I guess.
