Has anyone ever been to Cowfold?... What's it like?... Any decent places to visit?

A balloon from the Cowfold play group made it all the way to Rye in the early 1990s.

The towns people rejoiced.

I know where Cowfold Road is , its just off Manor Hill it is the road below Maresfield Road and the one above Manor Road.

There is a pub and a clock shop but that's about it really.

on the A281 just south of Cowfold is The Chalet cafe which always used to have a great selection of breakfasts that were good value for money.

I performed on stage at Cowfold Village Hall on the day of HM the Q's Silver Jubilee celebrations.

There was SINGING and DANCING and EVERYTHING. Marvellous scenes.

I have had meetings at the Village Hall which was charmingly timeless. As were many of the residents. I think it may have changed.

I went to see a gig at the village hall, it was some years ago, don't think the band exist anymore but the village hall survived.

i once worked in cowfold...........there was a very interesting puddle outside the post office.
