Sad news Keith, multi award winning Holby City finishing next year after 21 happy and gripping years on our screens, a true national treasure of a drama.



I'd also add Noels Christmas Presents, Lorraine, Surprise Surprise, Blind Date, Londons Burning and Can't Cook, Won't Cook to the original list.

This is just too much the years I've dedicated to that hospital. How will it all come to an end ? I'm hoping for an alien space craft crashing in to Albies

As well as quite a few I've forgot about and a few Swedish and Danish ones you'd never heard of.

Some of them arguably went a bit shit in the end but that goes for most tv series.

Well it has taken our Swedish dopehead to get there with Twin Peaks, an utterly wonderful piece of TV but at the same time being rather disturbing.

I'm amazed it was made, even more that it was ever shown as prime time TV.

Presume David Lynch has retired as he doesn't appear to have done anything for years?
