This letter/application form/number thing seems ludicrous and prone to error

What do other clubs do? There must be a simpler way?

Only the Albion could invent an electronic on-line application process which involves the sending a paper letter.

No, banks tend to operate this way when you begin online banking too, because it helps guard against ID theft.

The reason we have written to all season ticket holders is to give them the full details. It seems we're damned if we do, and damned if we don't!!

You have to bear in mind not all STHs are regular web users or readers of the Argus, and might not come into contact with the required info to buy their seat for the match. With the confusion surrounding the date, it is very feasible that some people might think tickets go on sale once the date is finalised, leave their purchase until then and miss out completely.

We also thought we would remind all STHs of their account and reservation numbers, which are essential to ensure every season-ticket holder has the opportunity to buy their own seat online.
