To be fair they were their ONLY two good players who I always thought would be snapped up....but not for £24M!!!

Given they were pretty much debt free when relegated, it looks a fantastic piece of business. Contrast this with West ham, who many were predicting would go to the wall if relegated. What happens they survive go back up and start all over again paying over the odds for average players.

Agreed. They are run VERY well financially.

On a side note, fletcher to Sunderland must mean Conor Wickham is available on a loan. Nice BIG strong frontman*
