made around £21.5M.

Thats not a bad WAR CHEST to have for a promotion push is it?

Even if they bank £14m or so that is still quite scary.

If Fletcher and Jarvis were THAT good, how on EARTH did they go down.

They have to pay some of that to Gillingham and Burnley.

Thats roughly after they've paid those fees.

Fletcher £14m. £12m up front with another £2m potential add ons)
Jarvis is £10.75 over time (add ons are certain, not performance dependant)

Its nearer £20 -£20.5M in total

Given they were pretty much debt free when relegated, it looks a fantastic piece of business. Contrast this with West ham, who many were predicting would go to the wall if relegated. What happens they survive go back up and start all over again paying over the odds for average players.

Fletcher is a £4million striker at best. How they have managed to get soo much for him i will never know. Jarvis is ok, but that is about it.

Agreed. They are run VERY well financially.

On a side note, fletcher to Sunderland must mean Conor Wickham is available on a loan. Nice BIG strong frontman*
