Moeen strong appeal... turned down by Erasmus. Hit pad in front of middle-off and hitting stumps halfway up middle :nono:

DRS fail again.

Ironic that we didn't follow on so as to rest our wicket-taking bowlers and now it's Ali, Root and the fielders that have done the damage in the 2nd innings. Dhoni must be gutted at this start.

What shame the attendance looks so poor it would be better to have a full house at hove for five days days but they may run out of balls!

Another great change from Captain Cook.... Ali into the attack again and immediately a 2nd wicket! :clap2:

Kohli nicks a straight one... and Buttler manages to hang on to it.

Top four all back in the hutch.

India 89-4 with 35 minutes remaining on Day 4

Stumps on Day 4

India 112-4 (333 required with 6 wickets in hand)

Great day for England and Captain Cook :clap2:

Now to finish it off tomorrow, and level the series with 2 to play.

Not really, I certainly wouldn't have given them the best part of 2 days to score 350. They would have thought they'd won the lottery in comparison to where they ended up.

I wouldn't give the Convicts or Saffers a 350 chase on 4th Innings but this bunch of IPL sloggers? It was never going to happen, I doubt if they will make 250.

Sun shining, blue skies, all set for a great day of test cricket... well hopefully significantly less than a day.

New ball due mid afternoon... if it comes to it, that should be enough to see England home to a well-deserved victory... and a level series with two to play.
