Ok, here's one. Last week they spotted a galaxy that was 13B light years away. Given that the universe is expanding in all directions (whether it continues forever depends on the quantity of dark matter), so we saw this galaxy as it was just after the universe was born, so why wasn't it near to the point of the big-bang (or was it ?)

We're not at the centre of the universe.

The amazing thing is the massive variety of life on this planet all kept alive by that little yellow thing hovering 93 million miles away, like our own personal light bulb/heater floating out there in the darkness - let alone the rest of the universe, just think how strange that great ball of energy, that has been burning itself for billions of years in the -270c chill of deep space is and how that heat crosses 93 million miles to warm and light our planet.

and those massive explosions you see are much bigger than little planet earth, yet some still believe mother nature has nothings to do with global warming/climate change (delete as the fashion dictates)

We are not the centre of the Universe, it grew whilst the Universe was expanding.
