I enjoy watching the Decathlon. I know the events off by heart after many happy hours playing Daley Thompson on the Spectrum.

How many joysticks did you get through?

Daley Thompsons! They don't make sport tie-in games like that anymore! Did you use a joystick or the keyboard? I always preferred using the keyboard, you could build up a bit of rhythm in the button bashing.
100 metres was ok, 400 metres was hard and the 1,500 metres was sadistic torture.
The Long Jump and pole vault were impossible.

I have participated in Greco style wrestling whilst in Heraklion one year. After a bottle and a half of cheap oozo I found I had quite a talent for it.
