This.

And if it turns out we are paying even ONE pound of his wages I will possibly implode.

It would be a sad, sad day if Brighton and Hove Albion was paying someone to play for that lot.

Or.........funny that such a big club like Palace need us to help out with their wage bill.

But on the other hand have palarse helped us with our final playoff push by taking Dobbie of our hands and allowing us to get our quality players in.

Then realised its Kevin Phillips who is, still, bloody good. He maybe 38 but boy does that guy know where the net is!!!
Phillips is 39, 40 this year. He may know where the net is, but he's too tired to get there. He's only scored twice this season.

What I wanna know is, since u have the strongest 11 in the league will Dobbie, a player who recently couldn't make our matchday EIGHTEEN improve it..?
Indeed, Glenn_Murray aka Seaside has explained on several occasions that only 1 of our squad could even get into their team, and it wasn't Dobbie.

Can't believe that some Palace lot think we would be paying some of his wages - this is a transfer in all but name. They will be paying all his wages while he can't play against us and has given us the money to pay Upson.

I would say we're helping with your wage bill . Him being your top earner ? And all that .

This is actually the exact truth of the matter. The money has been better spent elsewhere, where our needs were greater.

Sorry if it's been discussed already in the 23 pages - have we initiated the contract agreement that he can't play against us?

Yes.

“@OfficialBHAFC: Stephen Dobbie has joined Crystal Palace initially on loan – but is expected complete a permanent move on July 1st . #BHAFC #FLTransfer”

“@OfficialBHAFC: As part of the deal Dobbie is not allowed to play against #BHAFC when the teams meet in March - or should the clubs meet in the playoffs.”

If he's on loan and then suddenly looks a great player at Palace and bangs in 15 goals at least he's still ours come the end of the season.

Ah thanks. I had a flurry of tweet alerts for Dobbie so missed that one.
Nice.

That won't happen. It's a permanent transfer in all but name, due to the 3 club registrations rule. The bigger stumbling block is what happens if he gets seriously injured before the end of the season.

Okay, not that bothered to be honest but if he gets injured during the loan do we then get back a crocked player and pay him or does this loan club pay him until loan expires??
