I don't think anyone is suggesting it has been faked. Some of us are just astute enough to question the veracity of the images released. How many carriages were there to that train? You have seen images of two separate carriages and think this backs the train company's assertion that the train was not 'jam packed'. Why not release footage of all carriages? Perhaps they do not reflect so favourably on Virgin?

The truth (as given by Virgin East Coast themselves) is that the on board train staff upgraded people to first class to free up space for Jeremy and his colleagues to sit down. Why on earth would they have done that if there was ample space for walk up passengers?

Because there were lots of seats but only singles and the Corbyn team wanted to be together - I'm guessing.

Because he probably had a moan and the conductor realised who he was and then offered him and his mates first class.

I have to say it has been a first class piece of wriggling that Corbyn and his team have done to try to get out of this. I think
he was ill-advised.

Pretty stupid stuff. I don't know many cafes that have taken the piss out of their customers for years by making excess profits based on a private monopoly that means even the shoddiest of "services" has to be grudgingly taken up...

Same old Tories.

Perhaps it was. I have just had enough of Jeremy Corbyn being undermined in every way possible apart from proper analysis of his real values and policy proposals.

any in particular? policies he has shared have been discussed widely and he is undermined by the fact many people not agreeing with them in whole or in part.

I think you will find that he has well and truly undermined himself. He somewhat pompously presents himself as offering a new type of politics, and has herewith shown that he is just the same as the others. Does being part of a video which clearly is designed to give a false impression represent his real values, I wonder?

False impression of what? Do you think the privatised train companies in this country are delivering good quality service at fair prices for ordinary people?

He has to engage in "politics" and for someone like him, especially in opposition, that requires drawing attention to issues of material concern.

Yeah - but Moshe - all for that - but in a way where he is beyond reproach. Not in an alleged, false way.

As previously stated he is clearly a long term Tory Mole, I can see him taking his seat in the Lords in 5 years time as Lord Jezza of Islington, appointed for services to the Conservative and Unionist Party...

Seeing as how Jeremy Corbyn's career has now hit the buffers in the most unexpected of ways, maybe he could team up with Michael Portillo for the next series of Great British Railway Journeys.

It is possible to share Corbyn's real values and agree with his policy proposals whilst still thinking that he will never have what it takes to be a leader. Surely there must be someone on the left more worthy of the personality cult that has been established around Corbyn. He is a nice man who says the right things to people who agree with him. In the current climate it should be possible for the left of the Labour Party to win arguments, the support of workers and the middle ground without comprimising on the important economic principles, but Corbyn has shown no sign that he has any idea how to do it.

Corbyn's train fiasco - dimwit & now a proven liar

how low can this Buffon go ! Lying about no seats on the virgin train when photos show him walking past empty seats. A complete out of touch idiot and
Tells porkies to. Now he can only count on the equally moronic trade unions and socialist workers and other extremists for support
