I don't know if you're aware but it's a rally organised by the SWP. They're a completely different political party, they don't even believe in democratic socialism, it's a self-proclaimed Trotskyite political party. Tell me again who should leave the Labour Party?

Indeed. The SWP hijack every protest with their soppy banners. They are a parasite on the labour party.
Unfortunately I suspect that Corbyn regards such 'support' as being part of the 'broad church'. Its not part of my network, any more than the BNP are part of your average conservative type's (not that I'm even a labour member, although I may rejoin, like one of my work colleagues of the soft left did today, in the hope of having a hand in getting Corbyn out - not because Corbyn is Doctor Evil, merely a hopeless leader at a time when Labour needs a good leader). Apologies for yet another long sentence.

As corbyn is now finding out, you can't effectively lead anything unless you have the backing of your big hitters. If it's true that nobody of the leaders team attended labourin sessions and didn't support the campaign (or worse worked against it) then perhaps it's them who should be stripped of the whip
In answer to your question, below, I am suspect not. It shows the level of delusion that Corbyn has. Yes, he will likely be re-elected if he stands against a challenger in the Autumn, owing to the soppy system labour has. And sadly he thinks this is democratic, and justifies his stance, whereas in fact it is electoral suicide. Aside from any arguments about what the party as a whole prefers is 'best', he has to sell himself to the electorate, and if this MASS of labour MPs don't waht him, why should we vote for him?
I just saw Angel Eagle on the telly, visibly broken by the whole shambles. And yet she is being touted as a new labour leader. How I hanker for the anodyne days of TB and gentle concensus politics. . . . <sigh>

You are correct in that some of those 250,000 who paid a few quid to join the Labour Party are a waste of space - However, a large majority of those people were people who eventually saw something in Corbyn that reflected what they want from a Politician. Something which reflected them.
It seems that some members of the labour party scream that they want to engage the youth in Politics but it now seems only if they follow their beliefs.

To a man and woman, I believe that every single one of those who have resigned campaigned tirelessly for a Remain vote. Specifically on Brexit which is what has precipitated this mess, the PLP has far more in common with the youth than Corbyn.
