she is a strong woman and normally gets what she wants
and better still she passes as a socialist

That's bullshit. The Scottish Parliament has, since 1998 the ability to vary income tax by +/-3p on the pound for Scottish people and this power has never once been taken up. If the SNP were truly socialist then they would have had the courage of their convictions, raised tax and thus use the funds for public projects. They are nothing more than a protest party who are happy to be in opposition but are too scared to lead.

Indeed, I don't know who these PLP shits think they are..........their lack of commitment to a leader who has overwhelming support from the party membership is absolutely disgusting.

If the traditional working class ever needed confirmation of whether or not the PLP had their interests at heart here it is..........they are in it for themselves and their own aggrandisement.

It's like they think Thursday never happened.

It would seem that the 'traditional working class' whoever they are given there is next to no coal mining steel works etc decide to abandon the Labour leadership by not voting remain and effectively moving towards UKIP.
Given that Labour no longer have Scottish seats to boost their numbers in parliament they clearly need to ensureva high number of seats from the north and Wales.
If you believe Corbyn is the man to deliver this then great. However whatever your political views I would suggest that Farage is a much better speaker than Corbyn and is likely to target the North to build on the fears of immigration to obtain seats from Labour.
In looking for a Labour majority it needs to engage with more than just the traditional working class which is something that Corbyn is probably unable to achieve

I don't understand, is Skinner not elected by his constituents then, I must have missed the meeting that enables him to float into parliament as an MP without an electoral mandate.

It is your kind of condescension for the people who elect the likes of Skinner that has got us to where we are.

You Labour supporting Tories think you have the solution, you are really just part of the problem; you want what the Tories want but you can't bring yourself to vote for them, better to contaminate another political party that could provide a genuine political alternative.

Of course not, but you need 320 odd seats to form a government. Skinner has been a superb MP, but you have to get those seats in our democracy. That isn't condescending, that is reality. You don't form a government from the votes of your supporters, you form a government on convincing those that don't normally vote for you.

On the subject of chilcot, I saw Tony Blair has called for a second referendum. He really needs a new PR team...

Of course they have to make their move now as the Chilcott report will be out any day now and most of the Blairite heroes will find themselves with questions to answer , what better way to deflect what is going on ?

yeah i was watching Question Time too... except i thought it was a desperately pathetic answer. Yet you are trying to pass it off as original thought......cant say I am surprised.

It says a lot about you that you question the providence of the traditional working class, and assume that they can only be miners.

I was bought up in a council house in Moulsecoomb the son of a roof tiler. I feel plenty working class thank you, I have no problem in my identity.

You sound like you didn't have a similar upbringing to me, just like the new Labour Party luminaries such as Tristram Hunt and Chukka Umuna who wouldn't know who the traditional working class are and how to act in their interests.

If they did they would understand a controlled labour market is essential to protect their working conditions and pay.

But they don't, which is why they can't persuade them to vote remain. Corbyn at least understands it, but to his shame he did a volte face on his political ideology to keep the PLP on side,

He should have stuck to his principles and supported a vote for out.

Has he ? Only this morning on tv he said that he accepted that the result of the referendum stood.

Seems he must flip-flop by the hour.

Well as it stands the reality we have is based on your vision, with genuine Labour Party MPs like Skinner rubbing along with free market capitalists like Tristram Hunt.

The thing is Hunt's constituents understand their political objectives for protecting their jobs and wages cannot be delivered in the EU and with a pro EU supporting MP that is diametrically opposed to their interests.

MPs like Hunt are an insult to traditional working class communities, he needs to serve places like Islington or sadly now Brighton. He can do that as part of a political party rooted in free markets and comfortable with costing up to the likes of Goldman Sachs.

It's called the Conservative Party.........they are welcome to him, a sentiment no doubt shared by his constituents.

He said Britain COULD hold a second referendum, not called for it. There is a difference.
