Two short but instantly recognisable intros (well to me anyway)

Bob Dylan Like a Rolling Stone

The Rolling Stones Honky Tonk Women

Take me out and I bet you look good on the dance floor were the last of the great intros.
Favourite ever is love will tear us apart, smells like teen spirit a close second. Disintegration by the cue had superb intros on every track.

Glad there have been some shorter ones on here.

One of my favourites and to me instantly recognisable. Just a few guitar notes beautifully played - Man of the World by Fleetwood Mac

The rest of the song is pretty good, too.

Can't Stop by RHCP's is quite enjoyable.
Don't Look Back In To The Sun - Libertines

Both hardly THAT lengthy but always pleasing to hear them in full on the radio.

Take It Easy - Eagles
Welcome To The Jungle - GNR

Both relatively short but instantly recognisable.
