Saw an interview this morning with the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby where he said it's now time to forgive Prince Andrew, The Duke of York and he is making amends for previous errors, society is a pretty unforgiving place these days.

I wasn't aware that he had admitted to doing anything wrong.
So what is there to forgive?

Perhaps he hasn't personally, he has not admitted to anything and we live in a land where you are innocent until proven guilty but hanging around and being friends with two convicted sex offenders was undesirable to say the least so he has made errors of judgement.

He'd have to re-establish himself as a Phoenix Prince and work up from the bottom leagues.

Bit of panto, that kind of thing.

You have to respect a bloke that holds his hands up, apologses and vows to make amends when he makes a mistake.

So . . . no

I can't vote for either of those choices; where is the third option?:

- Never let this over-privileged immoral idiot out in public again

I'd be more forgiving if justice was served first...

Forgive him in order that he can do... what, exactly?

Go back to exploiting his status and title in order to milk loads of shady East Europeans and others for dodgy cash, so he and his ex-wife can stick their noses back into the troughs of luxury ski chalets and Caribbean villas?

It'll be a cold day in hell when I take guidance from senior members of the clergy on such matters.

Noncesense.

A bloke high up in an organisation full of nonces standing up for a nonce? Who'd have thought.
