They only had two songs - the happy song and the sad song.

After about 1992 they couldn't do the happy song anymore; they tried but it sounded very forced. So they from then on they only did the sad song, but with loads of extra material as they could sing about why they were so unhappy they couldn't do the happy songs anymore. Then they made each song ten minutes long.

In amongst all the dross there are some very good happy songs from 1984 - 1989, and a few very good sad songs, mostly all around 1989 - 1992. And lots of very dull songs everywhere.

swing between good and brilliant.

Some of my all time favourite tracks are Cure ones.

Charlotte Sometimes
Boys don't Cry
Just like heaven
Pictures of you
Why can't I be you?
In between days
A forest

Still haven't quite forgiven them for 'Friday' though - the track that Beach Hut laughably rates as their finest. If I wanted to listen to Level 42, I'd buy one of their records.

I like must of their tracks although I've only got the Best Of album.

Your poll makes no sense!

What he said (almost).

I don't think I'd rate them quite as highly, but definately like their music.

Has anyone voted? Can someone clarify how to?

I guess if you don't care you vote NO, but if you have a strong opinion, you vote YES. Possibly.
