I very much like the look of "torrential" snow. Chances of it happening, slim to 0%?! This is BN14 according to Net Weather by the way. It used to be quite reliable but I've found it less so over the last few years.

Newmarket.
This thread follows the quintessential template for a Brighton and Hove Albion thread.
Year on year hoping and hoping for a result.
Statistics predict a small possibility.
We cling onto that hope through the season.
Will it? Will we?
Not a chance, but we still hope.
Surely this weekend.
No! Maybe next week?
Straws are grasped at.
It doesn't happen.
Despair and resignation that it's not happening for us this season.
Looking forward to next year hoping and hoping for a result.

Brighton factually.....
THE thread of dread for me..... heart races..... hate snow

Me too especially in Brighton, all the wet blanket people who can't drive at a steady pace up a hill stall and block the hills up like Elm Grove Cardon Avenue and around Five ways.

I tend to drive along the coast road going to Lancing when it snows rather than the A27 at least the salt from the sea helps with the roads.

And none shows snow in BN14 :( The Net Weather model is odd as they are effectively saying snow kicks in when it hits 3 degrees. They are not predicting anything lower than that, so that's rain, sleet at best.

This ! When we get a probability of about 125% then I might start looking forward to our 1cm dusting.

Anything less than this and I'll be disappointed.

Mostly over high ground, though :(

There's still a chance of something overnight Thursday into Friday down here... unlikely on the coast though.
