The northerly highlighted above is more prominent in the GFS ensemble this morning. Looking through them , most have a variant of it. It's quite a surprise to have such good agreement at 180-192 hours.

The ensemble shows some decent snow percentages here as well.

ECMWF also shows it, but their version is short lived, with the weak mid Atlantic block collapses, which sadly is a very real development without a strong ridge North

BBC weather saying cold air is coming back next week but no mention of snow

I've seen that and it's confirmed on other weather websites, starting Thursday/Friday onwards. It looks like it will be colder than the recent mini cold spells and will last longer. But at this stage they are forecasting dry cold air. We need an occluded weather front to pass through English Channel without the warm air element reaching Sussex, or other moist air, to turn it into a dump of snow for us.
