We were at least a hundred below par . Aussies are a distance ahead.
Doesn't look like they'll be 'ahead' in terms of runs scored until the end of day three at this rate!

If anyone can grind it out and not get frustrated it’s boring Lab . And Khawaja for that matter.

Lab 7 off 72😂😂😂 . He must be taking the piss. Apparently he’s a bit of a character/joker off the pitch.

I'd rather watch England than this turgid nonsense. Clearly Australia, by adopting anti-Bazball, hate test cricket and want it to die. Forfeit the series for that IMHO.

Not too impressed with England this morning. Australia are clearly looking to grind it out yet there's been no change of tactics at all. Over after over of right-hand fast or fast/medium bowling just short of a length. Put on a spinner and get Australia to change their approach or pitch the ball up more. The aim seems to be to keep Australia tied down, take a few risks and see what happens.

WTF that catch was like slow motion

Bairstow should have been across for that IMO, what’s Marnus moaning about??

That was a first slip's catch. Root was just standing really wide. Great catch
I don't think it was. Root ended up taking slightly behind himself. It was a straight forward catch to Bairstow moving to his right. That shouldn't be left to slip. It's in between, so that makes it keepers call.
