Ten Pin Bowling - What's your highest score EVER?

Just been playing in a friendly tounament for a friend's 'work outing' with about 60 others and scored a magnificent 185 which won me the highest individual score as well as making us the overall winners for our team.

This included an amazing 4 strikes in a row plus another few spares and strikes.

My previous best was somewhere around the 130/140 mark.


What's everyone elses lifetime best?

I love the game, but never play long enough or consistently enough to make any real progress with it. That said, in the past I have been known to reach the dizzy heights of triple figures!

Probably 120 is about my pb.

used to go to worhing every week, mainly for the bar on the premises, burger stall, and definately cleaner all round, compared to king alfred at hove...

the 215 was a t KA btw, during a work's night out- 5 strikes
on the gom then it all went a bit pete tong!

usually get around 130-150, depending how muany games / beers i've had!

aim for the 2nd arrow in from the outside of the lane,
should roll into the 'pocket' i think its called- cascades
all the others down!

I went for the first time in about 10 years on sunday funnily enough. The first gae I scored 86 as I seem to have forgotten how to bowl completely, second was not much better, then I weighed in with a 168 in the last frame and only missed 5 pins, I am pretty sure thats my best ever not that I have ever made a note of previous scores.

Since I went though my bloody arm has been killing me.

I usually score around the 120 mark, not sure of my highest.
Its only £1:50 a frame if you can convince the people at the marina that you are a soap dodger on Sunday nights.
