If Murray had converted that late penalty it would all look very different.

As it is, a good result on Saturday and we're almost there.

It would take a disastrous run of immense proportions for us to get draggedinto the relegation zone again this season. Last night we stopped Gilligham climbing and a similar result at Southend will have trhe same affect.

With four to play I reckon we have another 5 points;

Southend (a) 3

Bristol Rovers (h) 1

MK Dons (a) 0

Yeovil (h) 1

Not quite the 10th place being talked about but delays Poyet being overloaded with contract talks.

By the seaside in West Somerset
If Tranmere lose their game in hand at Brentford on Tuesday we only need a point against Brizzle to be uncatchable given the massive gulf in goal difference

Gillingham wont catch us either. They still have to play Norwich and Southampton (and in form Wycombe)

After Saturdays excellent win, we could now be safe this weekend as long as we get a point and Exeter lose, or we win and any of Orient, Tranmere and Gillingham are beaten.

Safe before the final game, that would strange...

Tranmere's defeat last night puts them ever closer now, so a draw of loss for them on Sat and we are safe. If we win our game, then it wont matter anymore anyway!
