Whing---Hinsh---Elphick---Livermore

Carole---Birchall---Jarrett---Cox

------Forster(c)---Andrew----------

Bench: Kuipers, Loft, Fraser, Virgo, Murray

That looks a good team to me.

I would go with Virgo at RB (is Whing suspended?)

I am not really sure who I would stick on the bench if Murray is still injured - maybe Robinson and would put McLeod on the bench for Fraser.

We dont have any full backs, and we HAVE to win. We also need to ENTERTAIN the bored 5,000 that will turn up. So i say

------------Sullivan------------

---Elphick Hinshlewood El Abd---

-Birchall Livermore Jarrett Carole-

--------------Cox---------------

---------Forster Andrew---------

We HAVE to win, but entertain? If we can do both, great, but at this stage winning is far more important than entertaining.

Don't like saying it, but it's true.

If Virgo's fit then he starts, no question. And Carole must play as we need to take the game to them.

Virgo Elphick Hinsh Livermore

If all the new signings play I imagine it'll look like that.

.

That is the team I'd play, I think, though El Abd performed admirably on Tuesday and leaving him out would be a little harsh.. What we'll probably see however is this;

...................Sullivan..................
El Abd....Elphick..Hinshelwood..Livermore
Birchall......Virgo....Jarrett...McLoed
.............Forster...Andrew....

I'd Play:

----------Sullivan-----------

Virgo--Hinsh---Elphick--Livermore

Jarrett-----El-Abd----Birchall

-----Forster-----Cox------

----------Andrew----------

Subs:
Kuipers, Carole, Loft, Gargan, McLeod

Will give us good protection in front of the back four and get the best out of cox and forster playing off Andrew.

I am sorry but that is the reason most people are staying away. we are at home, we MUST start to win games and playing in effect 5 at the back with el( I never pass forwards) abd as a defensive midfielder kills our game. And then suggesting we play one up front on his own is sheer lunacy.

We must have a 442

sullivan

Virgo----hinch---elphic----livermore

carole----jarrett---birchall---cox

forster------andrew

that is assuming the other targets are not here.

I think it's possible that he might play Forster alone up front (Andrew on bench) with a 5-man midfield full of width and pace from Cox and Carole. Could be interesting formation and at least we won't be subjected to route 1 crap. If it doesn't work he can always revert to 4-4-2 (with 3 minutes to go). One thing is certain, we do need much more pace about the whole team - it's that quality in other sides lile Scunthorpe and MK that have exposed us this season. Let's hope MA is getting that message at last.

The team i suggested is more of a 4 3 3 than a 4 5 1 and is not defensive. I think we have more chance of scoring with cox and forster giving us energy around the front man. We tend to play a little narrow anyway because we don't really have a traditional winger. Cox for example (just observing not critisising) never goes on the outside of a full back but always cuts inside.

What would be sheer lunacy would be playing pinning our hopes on an attack who have never played togeather, only just walked in the door and expect them to work miracles. Playing 4 new boys who are not match fit in such an important game i believe to be completely wrong.

I am happy we have Andrews and feel that if we can get some presence up front it will solve many of our problems elsewhere.

I completely agree, was a bit in tongue in cheek. BUt we always lose at home, so we may as well do it, trying to entertain.

I reckon less people would boo if we lost but played some good stuff, instead of losing and playing shit and kicking it long and high

Gargan wont be on the bench as he has gone on a months loan to Eastbourne Borough and will be in their squad to face Mansfield tomorrow at Field Mill.
