Solly March didn't cover himself in glory against Lincoln neither, left wing becoming a problem position again ? no one can nail it down.

I'm pretty sure they have played together at some point in the season with successful results. May just need a bit of tweaking of tactics.

I have seen Hemed and Murray go for the same ball. I am sure they can play well enough together.

But I'm really in favour of Little (quick) and Large (a bit slow really).

Ideally I would like a Large and Quick with Knocky up front. Sort of Bobby Smith and Jimmy Greaves for the old timers.

Subs:
Walton
Goldson
Hünemeier
Sidwell
Murphy
Skalák
Akpom

Though I suspect Skalák may start for March, and maybe Akpom for Hemed.

On my computer stream, he was the only bright spark in the second half.

Forget the Lincoln game. March has been playing well on the left, but he's had limited game time as he was coming back from injury, and then filling in for Baldock. We have 3 good options on the left anyway, so I wouldn't worry.

I think the side depends so much on whether:

- Akpom is deemed good/fit enough to slot straight into the starting line-up.
- Baldock is fit to make the bench.

If we start with Murray and Hemed, I would start Skalak purely for his set piece delivery. I would also play Skalak on the right and Knockaert on the left, to try and get crosses into the box for Murray and Hemed to attack.

If we start with Akpom, I would probably start with Murphy instead of Skalak as I feel he brings more to the team from a defensive and counter attacking perspective.

Considering the injuries we currently have, it is a really strong squad. You'd need to probably leave out one or two of March/Murphy/Norwood/Sidwell from the 18 to accommodate.

Yup. Good analysis here. The other thing is that if Skalak starts, Kayal is the more likely to partner Stephens than Norwood. CH prefers Norwood to Skalak for set-pieces but, as you suggest, it's not just about set-pieces, it's also about crosses if we are to start with a big two up top.

Brighton / Hove actually
Hemed 100% deserves to start based on recent performances.

I wouldn't disagree and it's good to have this problem. He has made an impact starting and coming off the bench, scoring and assisting. I would say that when he comes off the bench against tired legs he is a complete and utter pest, probably more than Murray from the bench. The advantage of Murray starting is that he might be more helpful with the Chuba. (my thinking out loud is not an exact science)

I think for the first time I'll blame CH for last night's misery. We didn't have a midfield last night. Norwood for Stephens, this would have faired a bit better.
