Sometimes takes something 'a bit harsh' to stop people from doing it in the future.
An alternative option would be to employ people that can actually run faster than a turtle.

I think I might like to join the police, or request that stewards get tazers.

Would have been amusing to see one or two of those at Hillsborough last weekend. I had one in the US, a really nasty contraption but as one attempted mugger found out, very effective.

Only for the Police, they are available to civilians in some US States but illegal elsewhere. Mine was legal, bought from a market stall.
