Reading Naylor's tweets the centre back is a separate issue and not a top prority just yet. My reading of it is that it seems to have been prompted more by Greer's niggling injury than the sale of Elphick.

Then there is the striker who he seems to be hinting is one of two he is trying for but seems unlikely to come before the transfer window closes.

And finally there is the swerve ball "something different"

Bennetts Field Bunny (of twitter fame) has give the following letters as clues:

A, E, B.
(although I think they relate to the striker)

I'm none the wiser.

Interesting that Bozza is still hinting (on the Murray thread) that CMS will go and that the new target striker will be coming in to replace him. ???

Naylor isn't saying that there is going to be a swerve ball, he is QUOTING Gus from his recent interview, saying that there could be something a bit different...does't sound to me like Naylor has an inside scoop, just reporting what Gus has said...I don't see this as being imminent at all...

To summarise BennettsFieldBunny's Tweets:

The player has been described as "the final part of the jigsaw"
"He scores goals, but more importantly he creates them as well"
Over six foot
Has and A, E and B in their name including middle names.
