What are our realistic expectations this coming season?

Having lost Monty and Rana but gained tHarris and the bloke from Surrey.
the correct answer is obviously relegation certainties... an alternative (slightly mad) point of view would be that provided Mushy does something like what he normally does then we will challenge strongly for the title... we are a one man team but that man needs backing up by a strong batting line-up, a decent seam attack, good/excellent wicketkeeping/fielding and an unmatched team ethic... an optimist would say that this back-up is in place

Harris a bit of an unknown and opening attack looks weaker, think they will miss Saqlain as well. Replacing Monty is difficult - unlikely to be Hoppo ('nuf said). WK will be interesting as Hodd is better than Maddy. Some more of the boys (and Hoppo) need to step up this year.

Avoid relegation in the CCh
Friends Prov - nfc
20:20 - lottery but we may do OK. Need to get Sid in some serious training for the mascot race on Finals Day at the Toilet Bowl though. Sort out that bloody Spitfire - wasn't even a real costume at Edgbaston, just a running kit with some bits stuck to her arms.
The other one - who knows?

Rana should do well at Yorks and Expect Durham to be good this year, despite 'Handbag'. Is it raining at Old Trafford yet?

We need an opening batsmen, and an experienced batter.

Have confidence in the bowling attack as it is, but if someone gets injured we have little proven back up

I reckon we will do an Arsenal with loads of youngsters, and start well, but fade away at the death

Could become a much better one day team though!!

Buit will be a pleasure sitting at the Cromwell road end wth lots of ciders watching the season pan out and Lanacshire winning every trophy

Border country.East Preston.
I can see Shittssex returning to the fringes of county cricket from whence they came.
