We have signed Salter and Kutch on almost certain big wages. Vicente must be on more than last season, prob top earner now. Two more coming at a similar level.

I think its safe to say we are gambling on promotion as our income cant sustain too many players at those wages. In fact with ffp coming its probably the last chance to do it too.

A young striker who has scored 23 and 36 league goals in the last two seasons. Obviosly going onto to play at a higher standard and many would think a prem club would be interested. Is he worth 5 mil on that basis?, Jurys out for me as not played at our level. However if we didn't have him some one else would. Am I the only person who thinks Jordan Rhodes is a gamble at 5 mil? He was outstanding last season in league 1, but so was CMS the season before and look what his 1st season in the championship was like. DOn't get me wron if he signs I will be happy as everyone else, but I don't think if he does sign we can guarantee promotion.

We spent that last summer, so it wouldnt be a problem - but that would be a big chunk of the budget and im not sold that Rhodes is the answer.

All this talk of him being the answer. We signed a certain striker from League 1 last summer who had scored loads of goals, yet didnt have a good season - its a big big risk and is it worth spending £5 Million at Championship level on a striker which isnt proven at this level ?
