Not at all if he had caused a mass invasion the Football League presentation would have been held up or postponed and the club would have been fined or possibly points docked :tosser:

That was hardly ever going to happen was it?

I've always gone onto the pitch if we've won promotion or avoid relegation and will probably continue to do so. Why he ran on for such a meaningless game I don't know, but it was hardly a problem and the stewards should have just threw him out. The steward was well pleased with himself and I am sure he had a hard on.

Is that so?

What a remarkable COINCIDENCE that the person who is reported earlier in this thread to have encroached beyond the barriers ONLY because "a steward had dragged him on there" turns out to be the father of the lad who had been nicked two minutes earlier.

What are the odds of that happening?

Hang on!!! Just what are you implying LB?

This has (as is it was at the time of the incident), got completely out of hand. The 'Thug' steward WAS totally over-reacting. The lad would have gone of quietly with the 2 escorting him off.

But, if I was the father on the side of the pitch, I would have reacted the same way. I believe LB, you, as a father would have done the same, at the heavy handed treatment. At least I hope so!!

Bloody right, I would have bollocked him later, but this was his Son, being assaulted.

and had already been spoken to by the stewards in the back row of block H during the second half - don't know why though

As it happens, I know the answer to that one.

I left my lad (he was eighteen at the time) to take the consequences of the particular piece of idiocy that he was responsible for at the Goldstone. The nice police officer let him off, though.

Err ... I think I can safely say that the people standing in the first pic or two were not even spoken to by the stewards at the time of the "incident" that is the subject of the photos. They won't be banned for it, either.

But if you must feel so paranoid about the stewarding at Withdean, please stay away from H/J Block. There are enough people there already who seem to think the point of going to Withdean is to engineer trivial confrontations with stewards and try to distract the rest of us from our enjoyment of the game.

Maybe - eventually - they'll get the message ... It's NOT the big deal they are trying to make out that it is. And - 99 per cent of the time - the stewards DON'T go over the top when they ask people to sit down.

So in summary attention grabbing 'fan' runs on pitch, most probably leading to ban, and someone to do with the security/stewarding industry is witnessed enjoying the physical aspect of his job?

That clearly touched a nerve.

Its your views I'm worried about, not the clubs. Your clearly a little mentally lacking, hence my concern at you being a steward.

Anyway, you have the off seasons to work on your problems.

Good luck.

Not touched a nerve at all

My mental state is fine i am just a little annoyed that people that were not in sight or earshot have made false accusations AGAIN.

As for being mentally lacking i wouldn't be in the position i am at my main job if i was lacking so once again ANOTHER assumption by someone who dosen't even know me

Problems to work on is really simple as LB said in his post above it's the idiots that sit in H/J and half the reason they seem to want to come is to wind the stewards up, I mean for christs sake have they no life

I clearly ask you 'do you, or do you not support any of their ideology though?' and you say 'HELL yes'

Please note my use of the word 'support' and please note your use of the word 'yes'
