What's going on, where's the rush to get the rain covers on.

It's almost like the conditions you normally associate with Sri Lanka, hot, dry and a turning pitch.

Stokes steaming in and gets Dickwella caught down the leg side, tickles a rising short ball to Foakes (who is still wringing his fingers after an earlier stinger)... 222-6

Catch for Stokes at slip this time, and a 4th wicket for Rashid

173 for 1..... and now 222-7 :clap2:

Double Nelson has well and truly struck! Shep was obviously not standing on one leg (may he rest in peace!)

Edit:
Interesting fact seen by the missus as she sought further explanation of the whole ‘Nelson’ superstition:
The New Zealand cricket team Nelson played first-class cricket from 1874 to 1891. In both their first and last first-class innings they were dismissed for 111.

Maybe slow down now? Don't want to bat towards the end of days play :lolol:

Batting second is a tall order, we will need a 300 plus lead.

Reviewed LBW 10th wicket - not out

Another LBW given.... looked like it might have pitched outside... ???

Surprised the time it took for the finger to go up. Absolutely plumb
