Can he shoot? No.
Is he skillful? No.
Have we seen anything to suggest he's a dead ball specialist? No.
Is he physical?
Is there an end product? No.
Deadline day panic buy, and yet another waste of space in an overcrowded group of mediocre midfield players. His best spell in La Liga? The best part of 5 years ago now for a mid table side, before he soon became a fringe player.
Friday August 31st, the day Poyet killed our season, dismantling a midfield that was looking good up until that point.
If you take away his winners, goals overall, assists, possession and creativity, Lopez offers very little.

I find it hard to believe Spanish Dave has time to be second in command of a Russian nuclear submarine, in 1983.

This. People saying he deserves a new contract need their heads testing. The amount of points he's won us this season are completely irrelevant. Get rid.

Spanish Dave is slowly becoming a Brighton legend and this thread makes me laugh because it is just so naive, prejudice and ill judged
