My thoughts exactly. Not convinced I've ever seen Mancienne have a good game. Rodwell is class.

Agree 100%. Wolves centre back playing in midfield against some brilliant players while Rodwell who plays in the role for Everton sits on the bench, strange one. And if Henderson is worth £15-20 mill how much for any of the Spanish midfield

Perhaps that's why GP offed GM. He wants us to play like Spain, as in 4-3-3, with the defensive midfielder in front of the back four, two fast wingers and a central striker dancing through the middle a la Argentina's Messi, i.e. staying on his feet. If the tactics can win the Euro and World Cups, they must have something going for them
