Our boy was bullied at primary school. Did the usual, talking to school etc and it improved a bit for a while then worsened again. They did lots but were ineffective. Really knocked his confidence slowly. We ended up pulling him from school and taking him elsewhere. He is now really happy and no bullying at all, but still not 100% on confidence. You have to act quickly ( we were perhaps to trusting in the school) and pull him if it doesn't work. Good luck.
