A little OT here but I remember a pre season friendly at the Goldstone against Spurs. It was supposed to be Jurgen Klinsman’s debut, but he didn’t play. Standout player for me was a young quite skinny Sol Campbell. He was immense that day, quite a while before his England call up.

Campbell does come across as a bit of a bellend but fair play to him for starting at the bottom.

I dont think it is his choice, he has not been offered anything better
