It's ok to have a great goal scoring record but all the times he's been to the Amex he hasn't done much. His overall team play has looked poor.

I think Blackburn's poor record is a lot to do with their over reliance on a goalscorer who doesn't do much else. And if he was that good he'd be in the Premiership by now

When Knockaert left Leicester it was reported he was on 12,275 euros a week which is a bit less than £10k. As he left on a free, he probably didn't get a huge pay rise, but instead got a large signing on fee to sweeten the deal.

We do not pay big wages, so I doubt he is on more than £10k, with a hefty promotion bonus written into the contract, and a massive pay rise if we get promoted.

There is no one at our club on anything like £30k a week, over a 4 year contract that would cost the club over £6 million.

There are premier league clubs who don't pay that much, I think you mean £24k and not considerably more.

If true, Rhode's goals will mean Wednesday get at least a play-off birth. He'll turn draws into wins and losses into draws. Fantastic signing with a Championship goal scoring record no other striker in the division can match. I'm profoundly jealous - just hope we get a star striker too.
