Just received a pm from 'Sue Pollard' who set up the petition. Please keep signing and sharing.

"Hello!

Please could you say a very big "Thank you" to everyone who has signed the petition today.

Your support to our cause has been absolutely second to none ... we can not thank you enough for this.

These supporters were standing right in front of me at our Crawley match yesterday and I thanked him for showing his support both at Plymouth and at Crawley.

Thank you everyone!! Real fans stick together and take care of each other!!

This Plymouth saga has more twists and turns than a twisty turny thing.

The ex-directors, who were threatening to de-rail James Brent's takeover bid seem to have already caved in to the pressure from fans.

From the head of the Plymouth Fans Trust on Plymouth message board PASOTI:

"Today we have had Paul Stapleton back the Brent bid, and Kevin Heaney has also been in touch to confirm that he is no longer bidding for Argyle and wishing us all the best for the future – very nice of him. We have also been informed that Phill Gill (who was the front man for the bid) has informed the administrators that he is not in a position to move forward anymore. Direct Action = Direct Results ... We march forward towards saving our Club. If that leaves a wreckage of ex directors egos along the way then so be it. James Brent remains cool and focused. We remain cool and focused. Together we will save our Club."

The petition organiser says: "A huge "Thank you" to everyone who supported the on line petition. And many, many thanks must also go to the support we had of fellow footy fans from all over the country, who helped us out once again, in our hour of need."
