Rodgers says he will let him go out on loan. He was fantastic in the Uruguay team that reached the World cup semis. I would love to see Gus work his magic and bring the young Uruguayan centre back to the Amex.

He was excellent against us in the Carling Cup last year but has been very ropey when given a chance for Liverpool since. Like his style though.

Before the game at the Amex last season, he was one of the players on the pitch having a long chat and a laugh with Gus, hope we can get him to come down here. Good in the air and pretty quick, can use the ball well too.

Hope our style of football would encourage Liverpool to let him come here.

Would think a loan in this country would do him more good. Excellent there is link to Gus nationality wise, but would think they'd let him stay living at home and find a team in that corner of the country really

Coates is class. Can't get in the team as Agger & Skrtel have stayed injury free!

Coates has skill too. A brilliant goal at Loftus Road earlier this year.

But I wonder if he'll take a loan in the north west to remain near to his new team mates & friends?
