I thought he did well considering his obvious lack of game time this season (went down with cramp just before being subbed).

He will fit in well with us IMO... Another top Gus capture in the making!

Sprayed a few nice passes around and seemed to create a bit of time for himself to receive passes..

He looked a bit taller than some of our other players so some much needed height will be a plus.

Thought he looked very promising, showed very good vision at times and seems extremely comfortable with the ball at his feet. Did look a little off the pace sometimes but that will soon come with more playing time and getting to understand our style. Very happy, will be a good battle with him, Dicker, Spaz & Navarro trying to get a starting place.

He played well.
One excellent through ball over Wes Brown for Barnes to run on to first half and very Dickeresque with lots of turns and shimmies.
Will be a top player for us, had cramp so had to go off in the end though not surprising as he hasnt played much lately.

Thought that he took some time to get going, which is understandable due to lack of matches, but in the last 10 mins of the first half and all of the 2nd half he was very good. His passing was something we have not seen before from the midfield and made himself a lot of space. Is going to be a very good player for us I am sure.

Slow start and a bit off the pace 1st half but by the time he was substituted he looked like he'd been playing with us for ages, very impressed.

I reckon you've got it spot-on there, BG. :clap2:

The man is pure class. He will become our set piece specialist ( free-kicks / corners )...you could already see a difference last night with the delivery from corners.
Will be our best ' value for money ' signing.

I was very impressed how quickly he is gelling with the team. He fit right in as if he had been playing with the team for a long time. I look forward to seeing him at his best when he has more game time.

Good first half - decent passing, and real venom on his set pieces, with late dip and bend. I actually thought he disappeared from view in the second half before his subbing, probably because of his lack of match fitness. Funny how we all see the same game differently. Looks a decent signing.

He's 16/1 to scorer the first goal on Saturday and 9/2 to score anytime which looks rather big to me. Bet365 is the place to go:thumbsup:

I thought he looked good, considering hes been at the club less than 48 hours. wouldnt imagine he would of had the biggest of training sessions with the lads either.

took time to get into the game, but once he was in it, he looked promising. i thought he had a few extra touches on the ball than some of our other players, didnt zip it about as much as bridcutt does etc, but that will come im sure.

what he did do was good and i liked how he seemed he was looking for that threw ball towards Barnes and CMS.

Has got that creative spark that we seemed to be lacking in midfield. He will really make things happen for us and I can't wait to see him play again. Great debut when not fully fit or settled and against a Premiership team. Fantastic signing and cheap as chips. Perfect

All over the place
Paul Walsh seemed to rave on about him on SSN. He then said he had watched us 4 times this season but hadn't seen him before! I wonder why!!!!!

Keep up Walshy you scummer!

I was sitting at the right angle when he played that ball through to CMS where he hit the post, if he can replicate those kinds of balls things are going to be looking very good indeed.
