I've not seen a SCC thread for ages - the rivalry for 1 season has gone - we're champions - we won the rivalry and shoved it in Adkins face. Adkins will always be a **** but i doub't we'll both be vying for promotion in the same season for a long time. Nothing to see here re SCC anymore - the battle has been well and truely WON.

Look mate. I think you fail to realise that if we beat Brentford, it's pretty irrelavent. Brentford have nothing to play for like Brighton with the slight difference being that Brighton are gunning for 100 points and have proven to be far the best team in the league. Not only that but if it does all go Pete Tong on Saturday, we get another bite of the cherry at Plymouth 2 days later.

That said, if we fail to win either of those games, we dont deserve to go up. Anyway, I cant see Huddersfield failing in the play offs.

Brentford are in really good form and Nicky Forster only has a contract until the end of the season. They certainly have his future to play for. Plymouth are really scrapping it out now and could pull off a miraculous escape. It's not over yet.

If thinks had panned out so that giving you a point or three would guarantee you second place, I wouldn't mind - it would be some degree of payback for 1978 - but I think SCC are going to finish second regardless of the result tomorrow at Withdean - sorry! So, I hope we have a triumphant farewell to Withdean.........................and 100 points!
