Not a huge surprise but Bob seemingly not training with the first team in the latest video.

Couple of observations after watching that:

Joao Pedro is quite strikingly tall isn’t he? I knew he was 6ft, but must be his physique that makes him look taller.

I see they have Sky Sports News projected on a wall in the gym, not exactly discreetly, so I’m hoping they turn a blind eye when the inevitable transfer gossip section comes on..

Wheres alzate ?
Shown at 1:23 in the gym, but didn't spot him outside. Mind you, I didn't see Dunk, Lamptey or a few others, either...

I was wondering how often that huge TV gets hit with wayward balls.

That table tennis/football game always amazes me. The skill to keep some of those rallies going is INSANE!
It really is. It's when you see things like that you realise just how incredibly talented every single one of these young guys are that I think sometimes gets taken for granted - even the ones who you think of as maybe average players or more agricultural defenders maybe.

It's when I go in academies and see kids as young as 10/11 being able to do things like that though - it blows my mind. The standard of footballers over the years keeps getting better too, it's frightening. It's why I have less of an issue about the money they get paid than most, these talents are incredible.

We’re one of the lowest payers of wages in the league, and Bob is not one of our highest earners.

He could easily pick up similar to what he is on now in Spain, Italy or one of Frances bigger teams.

Our average weekly wage in 2021/2022 was £54k.

The average wage in La Liga is about £39k but that is being heavily inflated by Barcelona and the Madrid teams.

The likes of Getafe and Villareal will pay less than this, hence why we were able to sign Cucerella and Pervis.

Only a matter of time til just about every single Albion player of any note starts to get that nagging feeling that they're being short-changed on the wages front tho eh? Hence the recent player churn, some of it quite belligerent. Might fit TB's wages model for the club, but it's increasingly clear it doesn't always fit the players wage aspirations for their short career

Maybe, but hey let's just enjoy what we've got going at the moment, not look for problems. Nothing lasts forever unfortunately.

Undav seems to have lost quite a bit of bulk,I really like how he turned it around in the latter part of the season,he did the complete opposite of Sanchez he worked hard after a long period of non selection and knuckled down and showed the manager and the very sceptical supporters that he is indeed a very good footballer.

My favourite moment from last season was when he scored at Arsenal held his arms up aloft with a huge smile on his face, then saw the whole team charging at him and his face went from joy to Oh crap I'm about to be demolished.
Watching the training videos I feel like we're going to see a completely different Undav this season.

He seems confident, relaxed and fitter than he was, could be a massive player for us this year.
