Just been on and very poignant piece. Lots of photos of him, interview with his sister and pictures of kids wearing footie tops with REMF on the front. Have to say brought up a little lump in the throat. Used to play football with him and remember him quite well. Still very much missed ten years on!

Those kids included my son and the rest of the team in the yellow at ASC Strikers.

It was filmed at Buckingham Park a few years back.

We used to be talking in the Albion chatroom for every match, and even that seemingly minor bonding still makes me feel like I lost a friend.

Was a small piece early on news 24 but may have been the local section. Saw it at the hospital about 9.05 this morning. Only glimpsed the closing statement as heard his name and saw picture I recognised, but could have been far more coverage than that.
