Maybe if there is not much interest from the Palarse end we could host a mini Twenty20 tournament. I am sure we could rustle together 4 teams of 8(??) players or so....

It would seem the idea of an 8 a side 20twenty comp is the way forward.

You could have a round robin so there is 3 games for everyone.

Why has it been scrapped? We have lots of folks interested. We just need a pitch, and someone to organise it

I could ask Plumpton Agricultural College if they could make their ground available (that where my club plays its home games) or we could ask the SCA Pitch Secretary (Simon Wood) if they can allocate a pitch for us.

I'd play, and be willing to help co-ordinate, but I will be away at the end of August as I'll be on a cricket tour in spain with my club (Southwick Wanderers http://www.swcricket.com)
