Lewes would be better as I can go on the train and therefore have a drink.
Southwick did look after us pretty well last year.

Isnt it about time that it was done in Palace territory?

Not going to get the support up this way other than family & friends so best we keep it down your neck of the woods i think.

From the Palace board...

Although nice that old players would want to get involved, I would hate to see it get “silly” and turn into a full up old pros game.

The great thing has been that it is fans playing, and that they can treat this with the respect and banter it deserves.

Then again, I guess if it creates more revenue……. Not sure that’s what Robert would want though.

With the exception obviously of Ricky Marlowe I happen to agree with this poster.

I also agree.

Ricky is different. In some way, its a lot about him.

By all means invite players along, but i would avoid trying to turn this into an old pro's game.

just a thought

The pitch is aweful and unless your driving its a bastard to get to!

If we can get the Dripping pan then that would be the best option if not then keep it at Southwick.

Ricky is a legend. He was still out on the piss with me and Fatboy at 2am after last year's game. Put a lot of the younger players to shame - no names mentioned Toby and Max....

Hear hear.

We look like we could have a very good squad this year; raise a few quid and have a good laugh.

This year I am not going to pick anyone who will not come out drinking after the game until at least 1am!!

Why can't you get the train to Southwick / Fishersgate ???

I can now. When I posted that I wasn't sure where I was going to be working but as of Monday I am transferred to the Brighton office.

Just out of intrest, how can i go about getting in the REMF team?

And i WILL be out drinking well after 1am!

you must have all your limbs attached in their correct places, arms not essential but help with balance and stuff.

they'll be plenty of people like you trying to get into the team, which fatboy despises.
