Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has joined Russian side Spartak Moscow on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

Dutch Under-21 International Quincy (19), joined Arsenal from Ajax in September 2002 and made a total of 23 First Team appearances for the Club, scoring two goals, his last being in the Carling Cup Fifth Round victory over Doncaster Rovers.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Quincy the best of luck for the future.

So much for him coming down here!

See that, Theo ?
THATS what happens when kids sign for Arsenal. You end up in RUSSIA (or worse, Birmingham).

Or Blackburn if your David Bentley, who signed permanently for them today. Another strange move, thought he might be given more of a chance in the Arsenal first team.

You can talk all day long the proof of the pudding is in the eating i.e it is all about getting them to sign not talking about it.

DK is reputed to have a very close association with Arsenal but even that didn't work in our favour.
