It's not about incorrect VAR decisions, just imagining VAR didn't exist at all this year. So if the on-field decisions had stood, they then predict what the game's outcome would have been using XG and other things.

We were the most negatively impacted by VAR overturning decisions, Villa and Liverpool the most positively. They reckon use of VAR gained Villa 10 points!
On their calculations without VAR we'd have been in 5th, Spuds 6th, Liverpool 7th, Villa 10th. And Forest would have gone down.
[I also liked them citing Palace as the example of being shit at penalties. Heh heh.]
